Andrew Bird

By far one of my favorite live performances, excited to shoot this year. Only two more weeks! As always, more on the way.

48-Hour Shootout 2013

I slept 3 hours of the 48! Totally worth it. BTS pics below

Nostalgia Part 2: 35mm Slides

My grandparents took a lot of pictures. These slides range from 1959-1972. It took me a couple weeks to convert/digitize them all.. pretty interesting stuff. Here are some of my personal favorites.

Nostalgia Part 1: Super 8

I sorted through and converted about 80GBs worth of super 8 film over the past week or two. I set up my t3i behind the projector and just shot the image from across the room, not as much flickering as I expected. It took over 3 days to shoot it all and almost a week to organize everything and edit. This is a combination of all my favorite footage shot by my grandparents in the late 60s/early 70s.

By far the most personally rewarding work I've done in a long time.

I also have thousands of 35mm slides I'm in the process of converting, so expect that stuff soon.

Fall Wedding in Chicago

Wedding I shot in late September. One of my favorite shoot so far, really really fun. BEAUTIFUL locations. Kristen and Mike are native chicagoans so they knew all the best spots.
